Kim Victoria Cattrall born 21 August 1956, is a British Canadian actress from Canada. She is most well-known for her part as Samantha Jones in the HBO Sex and the City series for which she was nominated for five Emmy Awards and four Golden Globe Award, winning the Golden Globe 2002 for the best supporting actor. In 2008 and 2010, she reprised her role in the films Sex and the City and Sex and the City 2. In the 1980s, she played leading roles as a Police Academy Big Trouble Little China Mannequin in addition to Porky's. Kim Cattrall comes to mind when you talk about her role as Samantha Jones on the hit HBO TV show Sex & the City. Cattrall has made a name for her acting career as an actor. She is most well-known for her role in the dramatic comedy film La Dolce Vita. The film received an Oscar, and received the Golden Palm in Cannes Film Festival of 1960. It was also critical and commercially highly acclaimed. Prior to her first acting gig it was her job to be an Swedish model. In the end, she won her first prize in the Miss Sweden Contest. As she moved to the US and starred in a variety of films as a small part and her career began to take off. Her first credited role was in the film Abbott and Costello Go to Mars in which she was the part of a Venusian guard. The film was later awarded the Golden Globe award in the Most Promising Newcomer category after her appearance in the film Blood Alley.
